The Back Door by Sonia Andreacchi

I wait at the back door
the front door is to wide
too many things come in there
and there is no place to hide

I wait at the back door
the door that’s always open
I know you will wait there
I know you are still hoping

I don’t want to leave there
and I don’t think I want to stay
I wait at the back door
until there’s another way
