Sonnet by Riham Hagona

Hole in the wall cut deep enough
to lie to the other side, they
did not know where it started
but realizing it was them,
Bobby ripped it open and cut
the heart out that pumped secret blood
The source not known or better not told.
Maybe if the world hurt more, then,
there would be no need for pain that
shadows the morning soul see-through;
I know them better than they know
The little white lies told by boys
to friends who your enemies trust
Tell them its not thirsty thursdays
