Erich Deleeuw is a photography student at Ryerson, and a recurring submitter to the Continuist. Never ceasing to impress, Erich sent in an amazing set of photo set to us.
Here’s a bit of back info, from the artist:
“Here are some portraits that I did in the style of 1920s Australian criminals. I was very inspired by a collection of images in the Sydney, Archives. After doing some further reading I discovered that amongst the 100s of people photographed, there was a group of people photographed as criminals although they had no records when cross referenced with police files. With this in mind, I photographed my sitters in a similar manner.”
