Camille Rojas is going into her fourth year of Photography at Ryerson’s School of Image Arts, and has shared with us a few of her short, experimental films. Shot on Super 8mm / Winter Chrome 200D, these videos provide a lively flicker and tight frame that is visually captivating in and of itself. Her first piece is a stop motion animation that Rojas says is “inspired by the universal notion of the coming of age,” while her second piece is a one-shot take of a girl’s experience crossing the Bloor Street Viaduct (In The Skin of A Lion, anyone?).
