Brittany Silvaggio is a Geographical Analysis student who has sent us three paintings, each in a different style. The first, titled A. R. T., shows a steady hand and brush smudged in paint, a clear illustration of both frenzied inspiration and confident control. In the second, Fallen City, Silvaggio uses a scalpel technique to create an impressionistic view of apocalyptic surrender. The third, Venice Canals, is rendered in a minimalistic combination of ink and paint to capture the stunning details of Venetian Gothic architecture.
